Buddy Wash

Welcome to Lauren Tried It! I find that there are many products out there that people would like to try but they are a little scary, require a time commitment that they are not willing to commit to unless it works, may not taste good, may not smell good, or they just don’t want to waste their hard earned money. These are products that I have taken the leap of faith to try and I want to share my thoughts with you guys.

Buddy Wash

For those of you who have fur-babies, you are aware that sometimes they smell less than sweet. Mine for example can get to smelling like they rolled in shit and then went to Bonaroo. Marc and I tell the dogs that they smell like Hippies every time they get a little ripe. We find this funny…well me more than Marc, but there are tons of reasons why Beau and Sadie do not always smell their best….
Thankfully I have found a dog shampoo that really takes care of this. It is called Buddy Wash. You can purchase it at World Market (this is where I got it) Petco, and even online. It also has a conditioning/freshening spray that you use right after the bath and any other time they need a little refreshing between baths. I LOVE this stuff. It has a great lavender/mint scent and is 100% all natural. It comes in other scents but I LOVE the lavender mint scent.

Beau-dog has sensitive skin (of course he would) and many shampoos and even flea meds will cause his skin to become irritated…and then he will scratch and scratch….and bleed and keep on scratching. Buddy Wash not only doesn’t bother his skin it soothes it. And while he still gets pissed at me for giving him a bath (it takes a lot of work to get that nasty) he doesn’t suffer afterwards.

My main reason for loving this product is that the dog smell completely goes away. You don’t smell dog and vanilla…you just smell lavender. Plus they continue to smell good for about three weeks to a month depending on their lifestyle...and what they roll in. I can’t imagine ever using another doggy wash ever again! Try it…I know you’ll like it.
